About GovBidScope

GovBidScope aggregates federal contract opportunities from SAM.gov into a browsable feed grouped by industry (NAICS), state, and set-aside type — so you can scan the day's postings quickly instead of running keyword searches on SAM.gov.

Why We Built This

The federal government spends over $700 billion on contracts every year. Billions are set aside exclusively for small businesses. But most small business owners never see these opportunities because:

  • ×SAM.gov is confusing — built for procurement officers, not business owners
  • ×Opportunities appear and close in 14–30 days — if you don't check daily, you miss them
  • ×NAICS codes, PSC codes, and set-aside types are a foreign language to most people

GovBidScope gives you a curated view of SAM.gov: one page per industry, one page per state, plain-English titles, and quick filters by set-aside type.

What GovBidScope Does Today

Aggregated by NAICS

One page per industry code — see everything currently open under NAICS 423450 (medical supplies) or 541511 (custom programming), for example.

Filtered by State

Show only contracts with place of performance in your state, so you don't waste time on solicitations in the other 49.

Set-Aside Tags

Filter by small-business, 8(a), HUBZone, WOSB, or SDVOSB set-asides to see only opportunities your certification qualifies you for.

Deep Links to SAM.gov

Every listing links to the full solicitation on SAM.gov, where you can download attachments and submit your response.

Personalized email alerts and AI summaries are on the roadmap but not yet live.

Our Data

All contract data comes directly from SAM.gov (the System for Award Management), the official US government procurement portal. We pull data multiple times daily and keep listings current.

GovBidScope is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the US government. We're an independent tool that makes public government data more browsable.
